Lots of fabulous deals to report this month and some are quite significant!
Lucky for us, it seems editors are in a buying mood! Congratulations to
everyone!
Sarah Lindsey has sold her debut Regency-era romance, CASTLE IN THE SKY, and
one other, to Ann Leslie Tuttle at Harlequin Historicals in a nice deal; and
Lucy Monroe sold her untitled historical romance set in the Regency period to
Louisa Edwards at Berkley Sensation, in a nice deal. (Publisher’s

Best-selling historical romance author Teresa Medeiros will write two more
books for Avon in a major deal; After 17 publications with Pocket Books,
including 3 NYT best-sellers, romantic suspense author Andrea Kane is moving to
Morrow/Avon to work with editor Carrie Feron in a major deal. Kane’s book (in
hardcover) will be titled, I'LL BE WATCHING YOU, and will debut in early 2005,
Lori Foster has sold two untitled novellas, both sexy contemporary romances, to
Kate Duffy at Kensington in a very good deal; Julia London has sold her new
contemporary romance series, which brings women into an all boys' club to pull
off the more unusual requests of their member-only adventure service, to
Chritine Zika at Berkley for six figures; LuAnne Jones has sold her southern
novel HEATHEN GIRLS, to Amy Moore-Benson at Mira in a nice deal; Elizabeth Lane
sold two historicals, COME NEXT SPRING and an untitled novel, to Farrin Jacobs
at Harlequin; and USA Today best-selling author Kelsey Roberts sold FILM AT
ELEVEN, the fifth book in The Landry Brothers series, to Melissa Jeglinski at
Harlequin Intrigue in a

Heather Estay sold her debut humorous lady-lit novel SAVING ANGIE, whose
heroine, divorced after 26 years of marriage, is encouraged to broaden her
social horizons with a one-night stand-with hilarious and disastrous results, to
Carrie Feron at Avon in a two-book deal; and Linda Lenhoff sold her second
chick-lit book LATTE LESSONS to John Scognamiglio at Kensington in a nice deal

Kyra Vizas sold her first novel WORDS TO DIE BY, a sassy chick-lit suspense
set in San Francisco, introducing prolific author/novice sleuth Sophie Katz, to
Margaret O'Neill Marbury at Red Dress Ink in a very nice deal; Heidi Betts sold
her latest "Desire" romance, THE NIGHT THE LIGHTS WENT OUT to Melissa
Jeglinski at Harlequin; and RITA-nominated romance author Jenna Kernan sold her
book, TURNER'S WOMAN to Leslie Ann Tuttle at Harlequin in a two-book deal.

Elizabeth Flock sold her third novel, EVERYTHING MUST GO, to Susan Pezzack
at Mira in a very nice deal for two books; Melanie Murray sold MISS BUBBLES
STEALS THE SHOW, about an aspiring actress living in New York City, whose life
is thrown into upheaval when her beloved cat, Miss Bubbles, lands a role in an
upcoming Broadway production to Farrin Jacobs at Red Dress Ink in a nice deal,
for two books; and physicist and author Catherine Asaro sold her next science
fiction novel set in her Skolian Universe to Jim Minz at Tor. (Publisher’s
