Autographs When your published book is released, bookstores may invite you--or you may request of bookstores--to set aside a block of time, usually an hour or two, to come to their store and sit at a table displaying your books and autograph copies for readers who want to purchase them. Autographings can be daunting if the author is shy, and long and lonely if no one buys a book. It is nice to support our chapter's published authors by attending their autographings and showing them support. One day you will want chapter members to attend YOUR autographings.
